Vard Label was founded by Oyinkansola Olunaike, a woman on her own journey of becoming, growing, evolving, and redefining what elegance means at every stage of life.
The name “Vard” holds deep symbolic meaning. In Armenian, it means Rose, a universal emblem of love, transformation, passion, celebration, and timeless sophistication. In Swedish, Vard means care. Together, these meanings shape the soul of our brand: a celebration of womanhood, growth, and the beauty of becoming.
At Vard Label, the rose is more than a flower. It represents the woman who is soft yet strong, evolving yet grounded becoming her most confident, intentional, and powerful self.

Why Vard Was Created
In early 2024, Oyinkansola found herself transitioning into a new era of her womanhood. Her wardrobe no longer reflected the woman she was becoming. She searched for clothing that felt timeless, sophisticated, meaningful but not boring. Clothing that could travel with her through changing seasons of life.
That search revealed a gap:
